The moonlight's gaze watched over the land for the first time in weeks. The clouds had thinned out and ended the everlasting spree of falling water. The river that was once narrow and slow moving was now pushing itself through the tiny barriers of the gorge, eroding the the smooth stones and slowly the gap became wider.

The forest was springing with life tonight. It was the peaceful atmosphere and moonlight that brought them out. Three shapes lingered under the undergrowth with their eyes settled on the rabbits aund mice that came out to bathe in the moonlight. Their ears moving as signal to look, but not move. Their quite behavior made it seem like nothing was there.

"Hopefully, those dirty Fadeclan rats don't come and steal our prey again." One growled quietly with it's hazel eyes narrowing like daggers. "Quite." The other hissed with its own eyes focused on a rabbit that was gnawing on grass. Then a large brown tom with jagged stripe markings jumped out of the undergrowth to pounce on the nearby rabbit. Before the rabbit could alert the other prey, the tom landed his jaws onto it's neck. The rabbit let out a speak till the life faded from it's eyes and it's body became colder.

The other two cats jumped out and chased their own prey and soon all three cats had at least two pieces of either rabbit or mice in their jaws. The three cats trudged along until the cracking of wood caught their attention. The scent of not prey, but enemy cats caught their attention. The pale white she-cat dropped her prey and whipped dirt over it, the others did the same.

They snarled at the rival clan cats that came closer to them. "Do we fight, Flamesky?" The pint-sized stone gray dappled tom asked with worry in his voice. Flamesky, the brown tom watched as three cat shapes stared at prey. "We'll talk to them, if not we'll fight and chase them off." Flamesky said and darted to the shapes. The pale white she-cat sprinted after Flamesky while the pint-sized tom wasted a few seconds in hesitation. Finally the pint-sized tom hurtled after them.
