Chapter 1 The Dream



So much to do, so little time. Sakura the pink haired kunoichi was in a dark room. Where am I? she thought to herself, a light shined beneath her feet which showed the Hidden Leaf Symbol.

"Take your time, don't be afraid." a voice said.

"The door is still shut. Now step forward, can you do it?" the voice commanded her.
Sakura did so and three pillars came up. She stopped.
"What will you choose? The sword; which will give you strength. The Shield; which will give you defense. Or the magic; which will give you a little bit of both."
Sakura stepped forward one more time and pulled her hand out at the sword, "Good choice." the voice said, just as she grabbed the sword the pillars crumbled to the ground, and Sakura stepped backwards being caseous,
"What's happening?" she thought to herself watching the glass from the Hidden Leaf Symbol shatter into pieces, she fell into a pit of darkness beneath her.
Then she landed on a new floor, the symbol was different this time. It was a gold ring, and the sword she choose appeared in her hand,
"You've gained the power to fight." the voice said.
"There will be times where you have to fight." it continued, "Keep your strength burning strong, and your light burning stronger."
Creatures started coming up from the glass beneath her feet, "What are these things?" Sakura murmured holding her sword out in front of her.
"Behind you!" the voice said.
Sakura turned around and watched the darkness engulf the room, it started to eat her, and soon enough it swallowed her whole.
A few minutes later she found herself in front of a door, the door opened for her, and the light was blazing making it to bright for her to see, but something was telling her to go through that door, so she did. She appeared in a city, but then the voice said something to her,"Hold on. The door won't open just yet." a breeze of wind came by, "First. Tell me more about yourself."
Sakura nodded.

"What do you care about the most?" the voice asked her.

"My friends, and my family." Sakura answered.

"What do you when you are in a tough decision?" the voice asked.

"Take my time... think the situation over, then wait for the right moment to do something." Sakura Haruno said.

"Now you're ready." the voice said.

"The day when you open the door, is both far off and very near." a couple seconds later Sakura appeared right back where she normally was. Where the Leaf Symbol was. But this time the room wasn't so dark.
Sakura walked into the middle of the room, turning around she saw a circle of light go near one of the corners, and she watched stairs form.
"The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes." she turned her head and saw her shadow behind her.
It appeared out of the floor, and she stepped back, "Don't be afraid." the voice said, "And don't forget..." Sakura ran and almost fell off the edge, but caught her balance.
"You've held the mightiest weapon of all... So don't forget..."
The darkness sate her, and Sakura woke up the next morning panting.
"You are the one... The one who will open the door..."
