Liz and Max fall in love only to find out that he had a wife and kids. He tells Tess that was someone else and she tells Max that she was pregnant with someone else's child. They get a divorce and she get's custody of his two kids, Zan and Ava , Now long story short Max doesn't get to see them ever again.
Max and Liz end up getting Pregnant. Max ends up falling in love with Liz when he finds out he asks her to marry him. and no spoilers
