"Why do you love me?"
After five long weeks, Rumpelstiltskin had come from Manhattan without hopes of finding his son. But when he arrived there was a surprise waiting for him: Belle, helped by Snow and Red, had recovered her memory, and was waiting for him with a fixed cup. It had taken her weeks but she had repaired their cup. And even if he was hopeless about finding Bae, he was delighted to see his true love again. But something that popped into his head as soon as she broke the cup was still nagging him, so he had to ask.
"Whatever do you mean?"- They were in the library, Belle arranging the books and Rumpelstiltskin looking at her with concern in his eyes.
"Why do you love me? You know all the bad things I have done, and many of them to you! I just can´t understand why you love me?"
"Rumpelstiltskin you have, by far, the thickest head I have ever seen, including Gaston." – she said- "How can you not understand, after all we´ve been through, why I love you?"
"It just seems impossible, for someone as beautiful, intelligent, and lovely as you, to be in love with a monster like me!"- He exclaimed pacing through the floor.
Belle quickly got to him and took his head in her hands. "you are not a monster, and I don't want you saying that ever again!" -She tried to be stern but love was present in her voice- "I love you, not because of what you have done in the past, but for what I know is in your heart."
"But still how can you be…"
But he couldn´t finish because he was silenced by a kiss.
"I love you, and that´s final."- She whispered against his lips.
"I love you too."
