I See Snow
A Poem
I see snow
Falling upon grass,
Turning green to white,
Warm to cold.
I see snow
Tickling the branches,
Blanketing the earth,
Hard to soft.
I see snow
Dancing with the wind,
Twirling through the sky.
They are one.
I see snow
Pooling in the warmth,
White green once again.
Now it's gone.
I saw snow
But now it's vanished,
Gone like a lover
In the night.
I see snow
Falling here once more,
Familiar caress
Soothing me.
I see snow
With me for always,
Never to vanish,
Here to stay.
AN: A short little poem tangentially from Elsa's point of view, at least the Elsa in my Voices universe. I write poetry occasionally as well, and I wanted to see if I could make a set syllable pattern (3–5–5–3) work.
