She got out of her near scalding shower and shivered as she wrapped a towel around her. She scurried to the room she and Booth were sharing to get pajamas. She decided on a fuzzy pair of pajama pants and a tank top. Now off to find Booth.
She found him sprawled out on the couch in the den, covered by a heated blanket. He quickly glanced up at her. "Want the couch?"
She ignored his question and snuggled up to him.
"Woah, woah, woah," he gasped in surprise, but wrapped his arms around her when he felt her shivering. "Bones you're freezing!"
"I didn't have anything warmer. We're snowed in and this heating is awful!"
"Hold on."
"No," she wrapped her arms around him, "stay". Her words were muffled by his shoulder.
"This couch hurts my back. I was about to get up anyway. I'll turn up the blanket for you. Unless…"
She gave him a blank stare.
"Unless you want to cuddle with me."
She nodded slightly and extended her arms. He lifted her up and she wrapped her arms around his neck. She wasn't heavy at all, and Booth carried her to the bedroom with ease. Once there, he got an FBI hoodie from his suitcase and demanded she put it on. He came back from the living room with the heated blanket. He draped it over her and cranked the heat so he could go take a shower.
"Warm enough?"
She nodded. "Hurry back."
He took the fastest shower of his life. When he got back, Brennan removed the hoodie and snuggled up next to him under the heated blanket. With her head on his bare chest, under a heated blanket and two thick quilts, she was warm.
"What's gotten into you?" He chuckled.
"You." Her eyes locked on his. "Now shut up. We're sharing body heat."
"Cuddling," he corrected.
She sighed and shifted closer. "Well I don't care what you call it. You're warm and there's nowhere else I'd rather be."
Seeley Booth fell a little more in love that night, his partner pressed closed against him to keep warm. Even when she started to drool slightly, he chuckled to himself. She was adorable in every single way. As he fell asleep, he knew that she would always have him wrapped around her finger.
