'Come back! There could be more traps!' warned Jessie.

Both James and Meowth turned around to face their third team member.

'Huh?' they looked confused.

Suddenly a circular pit opened up beneath the purple haired man and the pokemon.

'Uh oh…' they mumbled as their feet slipped.

'James, Meowth – No!' cried the magenta haired woman desperately.

The male of the organization let out his trademark girly scream and his body shot down the trap.

Meowth flailed about wildly, letting out a throaty yell.

James caught the nearest thing possible, which happened to be the cat's tail. The pokemon's face contorted with a huge amount of pain. His claws scratched noisily on the white flooring. Meowth let out a desperate scream as he began to fall down the deep trap. Suddenly, both Jessie's gloved hands grabbed both of his pink paws.

'Gotcha!' the female told him triumphantly. 'Hold on!'

Out of nowhere, the piercing alarm rang, echoing around the room.

'It's the alarm! We're done for!' the scratch cat wailed up at his team-mate.

Meanwhile, James was looking down at the floor below him when he knew what he had to do.

'Jessie? Jessie, listen to me. You have to take Meowth and get out of here!' he told her loudly but sadly.

The woman's face turned horrified as she shook her head.

'No way! We're in this thing together!' she insisted the frightened younger man.

He looked at her sadly and somewhat lovingly.

'Jessie…' he mumbled before deliberately letting go of Meowth's tail.

By now, sweat was pouring down the pretty lady's face. She shook her head as both she and the cat reached for their partner's hands as he attempted to fall.

James looked shocked as they both held his hand tight and groaned with the effort of pulling him to safety. He couldn't help but blush as he felt the warmth of his secret crush's hands. He shook his thoughts away to yell desperately to her.

'Jessie, listen to me! The cops are already on their way over here!' he tried to convince her before adding. 'If you don't you'll be wearing stripes for eternity!'

Jessie once again shook her head and looked deep into his gorgeous green eyes.

'Listen to me. You told me we were going to be the greatest team in history.' She reminded him. 'Now just hold on!' she finished while Meowth groaned with effort.

James's face softened as his eyes shook with emotion.

'All right. I'll try.' He weakened.

After a few minutes of grunting and groaning, James was finally pulled out of the hole.

To his horror, he tripped and landed on Jessie in the most awkward position. James nibbled his lip as he gazed deep into his true love's eyes. His emerald orbs met her sapphire coloured ones. Their heart rates increased and a blush featured their cheeks as they leaned their faces closer and closer until…

'Let's go get 'em…'

Meowth trailed off as he noticed that his teammates were right in the middle of a passionate kiss. His eyes filled with proud tears. He never thought he'd see the day! He rubbed his eyes and sniffed, attempting to pull himself together.

'Well, well.' He put his short arms behind his cat like head. 'I knew youse twos would get tageddah (together) one of des (these) days!'
