Summary: He was a young genius and few could rival him. Shindo Hikaru was the only son of the business tycoon Shindo Masao. And my name is Kazumi Kokou, let me tell you the story of one Shindo Hikaru.
Prologue - The Birth of the Young Master
It was such a fair day. The sun was high up in the sky. The birds sang their songs in beautiful tunes. And yet, here in the Manor, the atmosphere remained tense. Apprehension, excitement, nervousness, they were all in the eyes of every single servant.
The reason of such high strung emotions was because lady of the house was giving birth to the long awaited heir of the Shindou's. Lady Mitsuko had been in labour for more than eight long hours; and the Master arrived six hours ago and had been with his wife since then.
Every servant present was currently waiting at the base of the grand staircase that led to upper part of the manor. Murmurs of how the young master would look like and who he would take after in personality tossed back and forth amongst them.
Suddenly there was a sound footsteps coming down from the staircase and all the servants looked up in anticipation. It was Shindou Masao coming down with a huge smile on his face.
"It's a Boy!" he exclaimed. "We're naming him Hikaru."
The servants were filled with happiness. They clapped and exclaimed from the news as the master went back upstairs with his new son.
Immediately Kazumi Kokou, the head butler of the Shindou Family, herded the servants back to their posts.
"Alright, back to work everyone. We have a feast to prepare" said Kazumi. And the servants immediately started to work. Their joy of having a young master to serve was clearly seen in their eyes.
And so came the birth of one Shindou Hikaru.
