''I am going to battle enemies. Be good girls,'' D'Void said to two baby Null Guardians in a toy area. He frowned after the creatures screeched.
''You are vulnerable. You are not as powerful as adult Null Guardians. Remain in the toy area,'' the villain said.
The infants began to cry before D'Void smiled.
D'Void saw two stuffed animals on the floor. After lifting the toys, he gave them to the Null Guardians. The babies cooed as they embraced the toys. He continued to smile.
''I'll return as soon as possible.'' D'Void stepped out of the area. He wandered the hallway before he paused. He scowled after he saw Helen with Manny and Pierce.
''You won't be able to conquer the Null Void after you're defeated,'' Helen said to D'Void.
''I don't trespass,'' D'Void muttered under his breath. He continued to scowl as Helen and Manny aimed weapons at him. He turned his head.
D'Void gasped as soon as the baby Null Guardians appeared. Glowering, he concentrated on the infants. ''Return to the toy area this instant!''
D'Void saw shocked expressions on his enemies' faces. *The trespassers never saw baby Null Guardians* he thought. His eyes became wide for a few moments. *The babies are protecting me?* D'Void thought. His smile came back. *The infants are distracting my enemies.* D'Void frowned another time. *My enemies will hurt my babies. I have to take my family to a safe place.*
Six Null Guardians appeared behind the trespassers. Another smile replaced D'Void's frown at a snail's pace. ''My pets devour intruders,''
he said. D'Void grinned as the Null Guardians pursued the trio.
The useful babies flew into D'Void's arms and rested.
