Hey everyone. This story was brought to you by Our Tangled Webs, and February Writing Club's Adults Only on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Our Tangled Webs I wrote for the pairing of Marlene/Gideon. For Adults Only I wrote for the object pairing of roses. Warning for mentions of fade to black sex. I hope you enjoy Roses on Her Wedding Night.
Marlene had always had a crush on Gideon Prewett. Ever since the first time she saw him during her sorting ceremony when she was a little first year. But never in her entire life had she ever hoped she be standing here.
Lily took the flowers from Marlene's hands as she was directed to her place beside Gideon. She had to admit his fancy black dress robes looked very good on his fit body. A blush colored her face as thoughts that should wait until after the wedding crossed her mind. A curl of her blonde hair broke lose of the up do that Lily had given her for the day to frame her face.
"Does anyone have any reason that these two should not be wed," the pastor was saying. "Speak now or forever hold your peace."
There was a few moments of silence. You could hear a pin drop it was so silent. No one moved at all. Marlene could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on her as the pastor continued the ceremony.
"Do you Marlene McKinnon take this man Gideon Prewett to be your law wedded husband? To have and to hold. For richer or poorer. In sickness and health. As long as you both do live?"
"I do," Marlene's voice rang out like a bell.
The pastor turned to Gideon asking him the same question to receive the same answer from the red haired man. After the exchanging of rings the pastor concluded the ceremony with the customary kiss. "I now pronounce you man and wife," he said. "You may now kiss your bride."
As the young couple kissed for the first time as man and wife the crowd began to cheer. Walking down the aisle she could see smiles from all sides. Even her ex-boyfriend, Sirius, had a smile for her.

As night had worn down Marlene had begun to think about her and Gideon's wedding night. They'd spoken about this moment since they had been dating for a year. Along the way some things had changed. But the main thing she wanted from the night had always stayed the same.
"Are you ready?" Gideon asked his wife as he lead her their honeymoon suite.
Marlene nodded feeling a bit nervous even though this wouldn't actually be their first time. But as Gideon opened the door and lead her in the nerves left as she followed the rose petal strewn across the floor. Rose stood in vases all around the room.
"I'm think I am, Mr. Prewett," Marlene told him pulling him into a passionate kiss.
"Then let's do this, Mrs. Prewett," Gideon told her tugging her towards the bed while discarding his clothes. He'd been waiting for this night too. He'd make sure it was perfect for both of them.
I hope you all enjoyed Roses on Her Wedding Night.
