A man was in his office looking through financial documents/statements
He took off his glasses he sighed as he finished off the rest of the paperwork
He placed the stack of papers back into his desk and pulled out his cellphone dialing a number
"Alfred? I'm ready to go" The man said
He hung up and turned off all the lights and he walked out of his office
The man walked out of the tower and to a limo which was parked right in front of it
Alfred was standing next to the limo his arms behind his back waiting patiently
"Thanks for waiting Alfred.." The man said
Alfred opened the door
The man stepped inside of the limo
Alfred walked over to the drivers seat and got in but didn't start the vehicle
It was awkwardly silent
Alfred decided to try and start a conversation to cure the silence
"how did the finances and everything look master Bruce" Alfred asked
"That spoiled brat, Lex Luthor keeps trying to come after Wayne Enterprises.." Bruce said
"He won't ever stop Master Bruce I think we might need to give it to him.." Alfred suggested
"No I'll never EVER give it to him it's my parent's company" He said
Everything went silent once again
Alfred fastened his seatbelt and started the engine about to drive off
BOOM!
The large explosion shook the road and the vehicle
"What happened..." Bruce asked confused
Alfred looked out the window
"Oh my god..." Alfred said in shock
Bruce looked outside also to see the top half of Wayne Financial collapsing in their direction
"RUN!" Bruce quickly unfastened his seatbelt and got out
Alfred did the same and they ran as quickly as they could
The top half hit the road filling the road with smoke
Bruce quickly pulled out his cellphone to tell all the employees to evacuate but he was to late
The rest of Wayne Tower collapsed
"ALFRED GET SOMEWHERE SAFE I'LL MEET UP WITH YOU" Bruce shouted due to the explosions and the sound of debris falling
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING SIR?!" Alfred asked/shouted
Bruce didn't respond and quickly ran in the direction of the smoke
He covered his mouth and nose with the sleeve of his suit
He entered the smoke he heard a little girl crying but he could barely see due to the smoke
He ran in the direction of the cries he saw a little girl crying next to the body of her mother which was under a piece of large debris
He ran over to her picking her up
"Shh it's okay" He said looking at the body of her mother
