Hey everyone I made something new! This is basically my take on how Lok should have ended. I own no part of The Legend of Korra I just own the story. BYE!
(Set at Mako and Korra's conversation)
"But for now the dance floor calls." Wu said. He shuffled away to the dance floor.
Korra looked back at Mako,"How's the arm?" She asked, "Much better." He said.
"The words thank you don't feel big enough for what you did, but I honestly don't know what else to say." She fiddled with her hands as she spoke.
"You don't need to say anything," He said, "I want you to know, I'll follow you into battle no matter how crazy things get, I've got your back Korra and I always will."
She smiled warmly at him. Then she pulled him into a hug, "Thank you." She mumbled into his shoulder. "For what?" he asked,
"For always being there for me, I want you to know I'll always be thankful for everything you've done for me." Her voice cracked.
He pulled away from her and placed his lips over hers.
It barely lasted a second before they pulled away.
She had tears in her eyes. She wiped them away and smiled at him before she walked away.
(After Korra's talk with Tenzin)
Bolin, Asami and Mako walked up to Korra and Tenzin.
"Excuse us Tenzin," Asami started "Varrick is looking for you, something about wanting to borrow a glider to jump off the roof of the temple?"
"That doesn't sound like a good idea!" Tenzin quickly speed off.
Korra smiled lightly, "You guys want to sit with me for a minute? I'm not ready to get back to the party just yet."
They grinned and sat down.
Korra looked down to her feet. "I don't think I ever really apologized." she said,
"For what?" Bolin said,
"For being gone all that time, for not coming back sooner."
"Aw it's okay Korra we forgive you." Said Bolin.
"I don't know why!" She said "I actually wrote to asami, I didn't write to you or Mako at all." she buried her face in her knees.
"Korra," Mako started, "It's okay, you were going through a lot, maybe talking to a girl was the best thing for you then."
"Yeah even though you are the avatar you are still a girl, and sometimes girls just need to talk to another girl about their problems." Bolin said shrugging.
Korra got teary-eyed again,"I love you guys, I hope we're friends forever." She cried. They group hugged and just sat there, staring at the new portal.
"Ya know," Bolin said "They last time I was in the spirit world was during Harmonic Convergence, I've never seen the nice parts of it."
"I've never even seen the spirit world before." Asami said.
Korra's eyes twinkled with excitement, "That's it!" She said, "We should go to the spirit world together, just the four of us."
They looked at each other. "Come on," Korra said "It's been a long time since just the four of us did something fun together."
Korra stood up and put her hand out, "Well?" She looked at them hopefully.
"I'm in!" said Bolin. He stood up and put his hand over Korra's.
"Me too." Asami said, grinning, she stood up and put her hand over bolin's
They all looked at Mako hopefully.
"Sounds like fun." he said, he put his hand over Asami's
Korra grinned widely.
They all stood a few feet in front of the portal, basking in the glow.
They all glanced at each other and smiled.
Mako wrapped his fingers around Korra's tightly.
She smiled at him, then grabbed Asami's hand, then Asami grabbed Bolin's hand.
They all smiled at each other again before walking toward the portal and stepping in,all of them disappearing in the green glow.
Their friendship would last lifetimes...
