I was sitting in my room, daydreaming about a certain kind eyed boy, when I heard a tapping on my window. I quickly looked over and smiled. Crouched on the tree branch outside my window, was the boy who held my hear in the palm of his .

I quietly opened the window and stuck my head out.

"Paul! Please be careful." I whispered, looking down warily.

"Don't worry," he said flashing me a smile, " Bella should be here soon to bust you out, when she gets here, come find me!" he said, winking at me before dropping down onto the ground.

As if on cue, I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

" Come in." I call, quickly closing the window.

"Honey, Bella is here. She says you guys were wanting to hang out today." My mother said, looking at me with her warm brown eyes.

"Yes mama, do you mind?" I asked, silently begging her with my eyes.

"Of course not, Asha. Just be careful." She said, giving me a knowing look.

I knew my mother knew about my love for, Paul, and unlike my father she was fine with it. Though she had never openly said do, I could see it in her eyes.

" Thank you mama." I said, grabbing a jacket and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

I quickly ran downstairs and out the door to find Bella standing there with a hopeful expression on her face. I nodded at her and we both set to walking down to the beach.

It was a windy day on the La Push reserve, and the wind kept my curly, black hair out of my face.

Suddenly, an arm snaked its way around my waist. I smiled to myself. I only knew one person who did that. Paul.

"Hey Bella, do you mind if I steal Asha from you for a little while?" he asked.

Bella chuckled quietly and said,

"Sure Paul. Just bring her back in one piece."

He nodded and steered me toward a log a few feet away. We sat down, his arm still holding me protectively, and he broke the silence.

"A, can I tell you something?" he asked, using his nickname for me.

"Of course Paul." I responded, looking up into his handsome face.

"Here goes nothing. A, I love you. I have from the beginning. You're my imprint, and I never want to be without you." He said, looking into my dark brown almost black eyes.

I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks. I didn't want him to see, so I hid my head in his strong chest and mumbled,

"I love you to Paul." I felt his hand grab my chin and he made me look at him. I'd never seen that look on his face. A look of pure adoration, and love. A look that was directed to me, me!

Without thinking, I crashed my lips onto his. When he didn't respond I started to pull back. Before I got far however, her grabbed my face and kissed back with the same amount of passion. I blushed, but responded enthusiastically.

We pulled apart slowly and just held each other when I thought of a problem.

"Paul, what about my parents!" I squeaked looking up at him.

"Don't worry. We'll get through it. Just so long as you promise to be mine." He said, looking at me with such a gentle and caring look I could have melted.

"Forever and always." I said.
