Zoë Nightshade frowned, moving her starry hand as she scrolled through the fanfictions.

Percabeth…

Percabeth…

PercyxAnnabeth…

What was wrong? There was practically nothing about normal people doing normal things. All about Percy in love with Annabeth.

She was surprised. Aphrodite had hinted this was happening, but really. Where was Beta Reader? What was she doing?

O-o

Zoë sighed, and descended from her home in the clouds and alighted near Olympus. Suddenly, a giant crab sprinted for safety, closely followed by Him. Zoë gave Heracles a death glare. But the hero was too caught up in his fruitless chase.

"I wish you had rotted in Tartarus!" She shouted after him. He looked hurt but ignored her. He had not spoken to her since he had asked if she would help him hunt the crab. She had spat at him, giving him a lecture on how he had ruined her life, and then stormed off. She had insulted him when he passed on his fruitless chase, but he never responded. Secretly, she still felt some pull to him. She had done her best to ignore it, and it had worked.

Zoë sighed from her spot above Olympus and pulled out her new Dell PC notebook. Logging on to the Wi-Fi network, she pulled up a fanfiction page.

She refreshed a few times, but no new storys came up. Wait a moment… She spun the scroll wheel of her mouse.

Thalia had finally joined the hunt? No Way. She wished she could have been there to see it. Well, she reflected, if she had been there it would not have happened.

No new stories, so Beta must be… Zoë looked down at Olympus. There!

"Beta Reader?" She asked hesitantly. Beta Reader drifted up to join her.

"Yes?" Beta raised an eyebrow.

"What is it with Percabeth?" Zoë demanded. "It is everywhere! Look!" Beta laughed.

"I know you would not approve, O starry one, but I must flex to meet the demand."

Zoë shooed away Ursa minor and frowned at Beta Reader. "Shouldn't there be a little variety? I mean, really. Is that all modern kids think about? Love and…" She pointed to a fanfiction rated M. "…you know…"

Beta laughed. "Yes, so unappealing. But so many modern kids do not understand the value of… whatever you believe in… so can you lighten up?"

"Can I express my views in at least one Fan Fic?" Zoë demanded, stamping her foot. Orion glanced over at her sympathetically. They were now sort of friends- he had forgiven Artemis for killing him.

"Yes." Said Beta Reader. "I know an author named Storm-Brain…"
