Christmas

on the following Christmas Huey decides to tell his view of this holiday, and hopes that someone listens to him. I do not own the Boondocks Aaron M. does.

For some strange reason it doesn't feel like Christmas.

I know that it is but now it's just a regular day for me now.

I remember when I was younger, Christmas was my favorite holiday.

The whole aspect of it made happy allover.

But those days sadly have faded away.

I guess it is because I am not a kid anymore, and I am now a bit mature.

Or it is maybe that I see this as a holiday.

And it does end with just a day.

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Christmas, but at what cost?

Now a days people care about getting presents.

Now getting gifts isn't a bad thing.

But I have a feeling that most of you don't deserve a gift at all.

Please, oh please remember just one thing.

Christmas is solely about giving and not taking.

Tis the season am I right.

Also this holiday is about spending time with family, remember where ever you are family is first.

Now don't forget to give thanks for what you have.

Because why get something if you aren't thankful.
