A/N: Okay, so I might or might have not put this in the summary, but I've only read Fang out of the Maximum Ride series and I loves the characters. The reason for that is 1. I didn't know which book was first and 2. It was the only one in the library so if it's bad, BLAME THE LIBRARY! By the way, I love Fang, so this is probably going to be focused on him. Takes place after "Fang" so pretend "Angel" never happened because I haven't read it yet. ~Moviesox
I sat on my bed and stared at the window. Fang, please come back. I thought, hoping somehow he could hear me. Please. Of course he's not going to hear me. Somebody knocked on my door. I grumbled something that sounded like "bwangloopak".
"Max, c'mon out," The door opened and Nudge walked in with a sympathetic look on her face. She sat on my bed next to me.
"ImissFang," I said into her shoulder quickly.
"I know, Max, I think we all do," Nudge replied, "Not as much as you though," She said.
"Why did he have to leave!" I yelled.
"You've read the note every single day since he's been gone. You know, Max," She said.
"I wish he didn't. I'd rather die because of him than die without him," I said. "I wish I had told him that," I said. If he didn't come back, I'm going to go find him weather he wants me to or not.
"I'd rather both of you not die at all," She said. I laughed.
"Yeah, I know," I replied, "If he doesn't come back, I want to go find him," I pouted.
"I don't think you should," Nudge replied.
"I know, but I feel like a have to," I said, "I don't want to be stuck with Dylan…" I said.
"But he's perfect!" Nudge yelled, "If you don't want him, can I have him?" I laughed.
"He's a little too old for you," I smiled at her.
"So?" She asked. I rolled my eyes at her.
