The crystal gems, mainly Garnet and Steven had just told Peridot and Lapis that homeworld was coming namely the diamonds, Peridot had been immediately all for helping but Lapis wasn't
"I can't do this again Peridot the last time I was imprisoned and tortured for things I didn't do, no I won't do this again'!"
She spread her water wings getting ready to take off when Peridots soft voice reached her
"you know this planet is our home too the crystal gems helped show us was an amazing and wonderful place it could be so" Peridot paused thinking then holding out her hand "shouldn't we defend our home too?"
Tears were evident in Lapis's eyes then she took Peridot's hand
"yes we should"
She smiled as the familiar glow of fusion surrounded the two of them,when the glow dimmed down there stood a Turquoise long curly green hair streaked with blue reached her shoulders the visor of Peridot covered her face she had a slender build a light green skirt reached her ankles her top was long sleeved and high collared a dark blue, she blinked her eyes open to see Garnet standing there offering her hand Turquoise smiled and took it Garnet helped the gem stand up albeit a bit wobbly she helped the Gem steady herself before slowly backing away
"A brand new day dawns on a brand new couple " Steven murmured in awe being 16 he had seen the signs between the two it was just like Ruby and Sapphire, through the rare times they unfused he saw the love the two shared for each other, it had been the same with Lapis and Peridot they balanced each other out.
"Are you ready for this?" Garnet questioned carefully Turquoise smiled at her
"They are ready and so am I " she responded in a light lilting voice
It made Garnet smile it was like seeing herself fuse for the first time all those years ago, she thought there wouldn't be another one like her a permanent fusion, yet here Turquoise stood ready to take on the world.
