"I volunteered. Laila Tov," she spoke as she gave her half-empty (or half-full) cup of espresso to Tony.
"Buena Notte," he whispered as she left and never turned around to face her until he realized that the sound of the overpriced hotel door opening never happened.
"Something wrong, Ziva?" he asked as he saw that she was simply standing in front of the door, not moving, and an expression of fear etched clearly on her face.
"Ziva," he said again, yet it had no affect.
All of a sudden, it was as if someone had flipped a switch inside of Ziva, because without warning she bolted from the hotel almost causing Tony to spill his two cups of espresso.
"Ziva," he muttered, and quickly sped up to her grabbed both her arms and turned her around to face her.
Shock was plainly evident on his face when he discovered the tears rapidly making their way down their face.
"Ziva, what-" he began, but never had the chance to finish his statement as Ziva quickly cut him off.
"I cannot tell you, Tony. I cannot stay here any longer. I will be on the run for roughly the next six months. Shalom, Tony. " asked Ziva, her Mossad mask disappearing.
She hurriedly opened the door to her little red car.
Without warning, or even thinking it through, Tony forcibly opened the passenger door to her car and turned to her.
"I'm coming with you, Ziva," stated Tony.
"Tony-" Ziva began, but quickly stopped as Tony spoke.
"No buts, I'm coming with you," uttered Tony and buckled his seatbelt as Ziva started the car without any protest.

They had been on the highway for roughly forty-five minutes, and Ziva had still not spoken a word.
"Will you tell me what we're doing?" exclaimed Tony, finally sick of the idle silence.
Ziva looked guiltily at him.
"There was a man in the hotel, and he has been hunting me for fifteen years," Ziva spoke quietly, in a tone that Tony had never heard her in.
"That was the reason I joined Mossad. It would help me be protected from Ayeed," she said and turned off the highway and into a rural town.
"Why would he be hunting you? What did you do?" probed Tony as he looked out into the serene landscape.
"When I was fifteen, Ayeed kidnapped me and tried to . . ." she trailed off. Tony looked at her and instantly knew what the man-Ayeed- tried to do to Ziva.
Tony put a hand on her leg, as a sign of comfort. Ziva smiled slightly as she pulled into an old-timey bed-and-breakfast.
"You know that we are fugitives on the run, right?" asked Ziva.
"How so?" asked Tony, as she parked the car and breathed a sigh of relief as the car came to a halt.
"We are interfering with an ongoing federal investigation by running," she answered as she got out of the car and got two duffle-bags out of the trunk and signaled for Tony to get out of the car, as he had barely moved since he had been processing of what Ziva had to go through when that jerk Ayeed kidnapped her and. . .
No. He wouldn't think of that. He then simply got up followed the foreign woman as she made her way towards the door.
They entered the B&B, and Ziva made her way to the front desk.
"We would like to get a room." Ziva spoke to the elderly woman.
"Ok, dear. We have just one room available, will that be alright?"
Ziva nodded and paid with her credit card.
"Ok, this is your Room-Key," she looked at the credit card, "Thank you, Ms. Carter,"
Ziva nodded to Tony to follow her up the stairs as they made their way to the room.
One hour, three minutes as fugitives on the run. Not yet reported missing.
