A/N: This poem began as something totally different that wasn't even supposed to be about Kate…and then it changed, and now it is. Hope you enjoy! If you fancy to,please leave us some comments at the end. (Oh, how subtle I am! XP)

Disclaimer: So!

"Run"

He pleads with you to stay;

But leaving's all you've ever done.

You can't help it, it's just your way;

You were born to run.

-xXx-

A few months later, and it happens again;

And you tell another that it's time for you to go.

You're playing a game you can never win,

But it's the only life you know.

-xXx-

When you take off out of the blue;

You never mean to hurt anyone.

You're just doing what you always do:

…Run.

-xXx-

But you can't run from the past,

Or the things from it that scar:

No one can run that fast;

And no one can run that far.

-xXx-

Still, though, you have to try;

To not let them catch up, those things that you've done.

So you whisper another hasty good-bye,

And head off into the setting sun.

-xXx-

After all, you were born to run.
