A/N: Another idea that popped into my mind for a Christmas fic. I hope you all are enjoying your holiday! Credit to Perndragonrider once again for the beta
Disclaimer: I unfortunately do not own the Power Rangers; they belong to Toei, BVE, Saban and Disney. I am not making any money off this story; it was just a figment of my imagination. Also credit goes to N'Sync for the song "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"
"Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. And Happy Holidays."
He could hear the Christmas music even before he pulled into the driveway. He chuckled to himself as he walked up the drive – Jason could play Christmas music every day of the year if you let him. Tommy, however, got annoyed with it after awhile; he could only take so much of it. The music stopped. Jason must have heard him come off and shut off the music.
"Hey," Jason said when he walked in the door. "How was class?"
Tommy groaned. "Tell me why I ever decided to get a degree in paleontology?"
Jason shrugged. "Because it interested you. Classes didn't go too well I take it?"
"Do we have any aspirin?" Tommy asked in response.
"In the medicine cabinet." Jason told him, trying again. "What happened?"
Tommy poured a glass of water and took the aspirin before he answered the other man. "I'm just tired of the same thing every day, that's all."
Jason smiled and pulled the other man down on his lap. "So relax, it's that simple. We're both on break, so lets put aside all the work that needs to be done for now and relax. We haven't spent time together, just the two of us, in ages."
Tommy leaned back into his lover's arms, laying his head on Jason's shoulder. "It's the price we pay for leading very busy lives, love."
Jason responded by bringing his lips to the other man's and kissing him, running his hands down Tommy's shoulders. "You're so tense my love, so stressed. Let me help you."
Tommy grinned. "If you do that love, then we'll never get this house clean by the time our friends arrive for Christmas."
Jason laughed but continued to rub Tommy's shoulders. "We have a week to clean love, that's plenty of time."
Tommy closed his eyes and relished in his lover's touch. "You know what I want for Christmas?"
"What's that, love?"
"You wrapped in my arms. That's all I want."
Jason smiled. "I think I can manage that. How's that, how you feel now?"
"Mmm, much better. Your touches work wonders, my love."
"Only for you, my love." Jason responded, standing up then pulling the other man up. "Come on, let's start cleaning."
Tommy shook his head and resisted Jason's attempts to pull him off the couch. "You're right love, the cleaning can wait. Come, spend some time with me, we don't spend nearly enough time together."
"I couldn't agree more." Jason said, holding out a hand to pull Tommy up again. "Come love, there is a nice comfy bed calling our names."
Tommy smiled devilishly. "I like the way you think."
"I thought you would. Less talking, I've got an early Christmas present for you."
Tommy raised an eyebrow in response. "I like the sound of that."
"Well then, come on." Jason said, taking his hand and leading him to the bedroom.
Tommy couldn't believe his eyes. Jason had been busy that morning; there was no doubt about it. Jason had lit candles, spreading them all over the room to give it an eerie glow. He'd also decorated the bed in rose petals, Tommy's favorite flower.
"You like?" Jason's voice whispered in his ear.
"Definitely." Tommy responded. "When did you get time to do all this?"
"While you were in class." Jason responded, wrapping his arms around his lover.
"Have I told you how much I love you?" Tommy whispered in his ear.
"I love you too." Jason whispered against his ear. "Merry Christmas Tom."
"Merry Christmas Jase." Tommy responded, kissing his lover fiercely.
