Disclaimer; Don't own Bleach. I think you know that by now.

This was originally a gift for a friend, but I figured it should be shared, so uh, I hope you like it as much as she did.

She shouldn't laugh.

It was her fault anyway, determined to cook the biggest batch of cookies ever for the vice captains special christmas meeting as she had been. She'd forgotten she'd asked him to come over on his day off.

But Hinamori had tried to work around her baking, trying to get Hitsugaya to admit what he wanted for his birthday. If anything at all.

She really, really shouldn't laugh.

But Hinamori was Hinamori, and cookie dough didn't seem to sit well in her fingers. In fact, it had decided to escape her hands.

It had landed on his head, bowl and all, slowly dripping to the floor.

She laughed.

He tackled her to the ground in a most un-captain-like display of his strength, dropping the bowl onto her head in retaliation as she struggled beneath him.

"Hinamori. Don't make me cookies this year."

She grinned.

"I'll make you dozens."

Hitsugaya sighed and flopped down next to her on the kitchen floor.

"Just make sure none of them have been on your head then."

She laughed again.

"Every single one will come from my heart, Shirou-chan."

He glanced at her, grumbled.

"Don't call me Shirou-chan."
