"I can give you life if you can destroy my enemies," a cold, heartless voice whispered in Fallensnow's ear.

"H-how is that possible?" she whispered, startled at the sound of her voice. She hadn't known that she was still able to use it.

"I'm from the Dark Forest. I have powers beyond your comprehension. Not even those pathetic medicine cats can even begin to imagine the powers that I hold in my paws. Some of that power could be yours, if you'll agree to destroy my enemies for me," the heartless voice beckoned her. Fallensnow could feel life slowly ebbing into her long-dead limbs.

"What about my comrades? Will you help them as well?" she whispered, still getting used to using her voice again.

"Of course. You wouldn't stand a chance against the Clans by yourself. But I've heard of you. The elders told tales of a band of fearsome warriors who hailed from the great southern swamps and managed to take over the whole of the southern swamp. If you're really as good as they say you are, you're just the cats I was looking for."

"Of course my comrades and I are as great as they say we are. My comrades, the Band of Seven, once reigned as kings and queens of the vast lands to the south. But we were overthrown, and ended up here. I'll destroy these 'Clans' you speak of."

"Excellent. I'm counting on you, Fallensnow. As long as you can defeat them, you'll have eternal life."

Suddenly, Fallensnow found herself standing in an open, grassy field. The air held the sweet scents of New-leaf and the ground told her of countless battles and hunts. She had only heard tales of the great Clans of the north. She and her comrades had always laughed at how pathetic they sounded, always squabbling amongst each other.

Fallensnow caught the scent of another cat on the breeze and looked up towards the horizon.

"It can't be..." she whispered to herself in disbelief. "It is! Blazefoot! It's been so long, brother!" she called out to the newcomer.

"Fallensnow! Is it really you?" He came up to her and they touched noses, overjoyed. "It seems like ages since we last met!"

"It has been ages, brother. We were slain, remember?" Fallensnow meowed.

"If we were slain, then how are we here now?"

"I was visited by a strange cat. He told me that he was from the Dark Forest and that he'd grant us eternal life if we slew his enemies."

"Do you know if the others were resurrected as well, Fallensnow?"

"They should be around here somewhere..."

Just as she finished speaking, Blazefoot spotted five cats running towards them from the same direction he had come from. In a few moments, all seven cats had gathered. They groomed the dirt and grime from each others pelts and exchanged greetings and stories.

"Well, comrades," Fallensnow finally said. "If we want to keep this life that we were given, we'll have to go and fight these 'Clans.'"

"Finally, some excitement!" called a cat named Shadowpelt.

"You're telling me. I just can't wait to sink my teeth into my enemy's flesh!" growled another cat called Blizzardfang.

"Let's go have some fun, comrades!" Fallensnow growled determinedly.
