This is my second story but I thought I'd do something I don't think anyone has done yet. This will be a short story with tiny chapters IN LATIN. Between school and life and Latin being mentally special, expect long waits between chapters. I will try to work on this whenever I get a chance.

TAKE NOTE:

I had to make their names suitable to being declined, so:

Jéremius = Jeremie

Aelitia = Aelita

It may seem a bit bland or robotic, that's just because I had no idea what I was doing. -_-

Chapter 1:

Mox in íllam víām vértīverant.

Tum ínquit Jéremius: "Tabérna nōn prócul est, quāle vestīméntum vīsne?"

"Nésciō, circumspícere vólō. Lícetne nōbīs?" Rógāvīt.

"Íta vērō! Cértē lícet nōbīs! Cūram nōn hábent."

Aelitia rīsīt. "Óptime!"

I was thinking of leaving you high and dry, but no, here's the English. :)

Translation

Two friends were walking through the streets, a boy and a girl. The boy's name was Jeremie. The girl's name was Aelita. Aelita was being led by Jeremie to a certain store because she had asked for new clothes.

It was in the evening, the sun was low in the sky, but neither Jeremie nor Aelita was hurrying. The boy was telling a joke.

"…and then the fight started." He finished.

"How horrible!" Exclaimed Aelita, but she laughed.

Jeremie didn't respond. He saw the road which he had been seeking. Soon they were walking on that road.

Then Jeremie said: "The store is not far, what kind of clothing do you want?"

"I don't know. I want to look around. Are we allowed?" She asked.

"Yes! We're certainly allowed! They don't care."

Aelita smiled. "Great!"

To those of you, if any, who know Latin: I'm in second year Latin so please don't hurt me too much.
