This is for all those people out there who are special in their own way! So, basically everybody.

Most of the Jackson kids had inherited their mother's brains. Sophia, Ryan, and Theodosia were all pure geniuses.

But Dylan?

Well, Dylan was his own kind of smart. He wasn't wise or all-knowing like his mother and siblings. He didn't strategize every move or plan every little part of his day. He didn't get straight A's or spend his days curled up with a book. He hadn't planned his future or analysed every part of his past and scold himself for mistakes he made.

Dylan was a spur-of-the-moment kind of guy. He did crap that normal people would find stupid or obnoxious, but given the right eye, could be looked past and the complete and utter genius of the move would be revealed. He was- without a doubt- much more clever than most twelve year olds. He was resourceful and had a skill for improvising.

He was agile, which led to most of his crazy stunts (jousting with a dracenae in a shopping cart, dropping bags of dog food on a telekhine, ect.), and he preffered to work alone. His only battle parter was his trident- a gift from his grandfather. He had friends at Camp Half Blood whom he'd fought with before, but he'd never been particularly drawn in by the concept of teamwork in a simple battle.

So, no, Dylan wasn't wise or nerdy. But he was a genius, and nobody could argue with that (except Sophie, but what didn't they argue about?).

Dylan Jackson was a freaking trident-weilding, ninja Albert Einstein.
