Inuyasha lay on the ground covered in blood. But he didn't care if he died. He looked over to Kagome and the others. They were also on the ground, but... they were dead. Naraku had killed them.

Inuyasha slowly got up and walked towards the small lake near by. He could barely walk straight. He had almost reached the lake, when his vision started to darken. He noticed a tall figure by the trees before he blacked out. He started to fall but was caught by strong arms.

Inuyasha slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Was he alive? But, how? He noticed his was lying on a big bed and his clothes were gone.

He sat up, but quickly regretted doing so as his head started to hurt. His wounds had been treated and had bandages on. He looked around the bedroom, but didn't really recognize it.

The door opened and someone walked in.

Sesshoumaru...

"I see you are awake," Sesshoumaru said as he walked towards the bed.

"Where is this place? What am I doing here?" Inuyasha quickly asked.

"You are in my castle in the Western Lands. This is my bedroom. I brought you here," answered Sesshoumaru calmly.

"Why?"

Sesshoumaru sat on the edge of the bed and looked at Inuyasha with a serious look. "I found you in the woods. You were covered in blood."

Inuyasha looked at his older brother with a bit of confusion in his eyes. Why would Sesshoumaru save him? Didn't he hate him for being a Hanyu?

"You fought Naraku," Sesshoumaru stated more than asked.

Inuyasha nodded. "Where's Kagome and the other?" he suddenly asked, hoping they were alive. Sesshoumaru didn't answer.

"You must be tired," Sesshoumaru said, changing the subject. He put his hands on Inuyasha's shoulders and gently pushed his Hanyu brother down to lay down again. "Rest. I'll come back later to check on you." With that said, he got up and left.

Inuyasha started up at the ceiling, thinking about his friends. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Tears slid down his eyes...
