Centre of the House
Molly Weasley didn't like proud people. She never had. Yet, as she gazed around at her kitchen; at the freshly-scrubbed oak table; the welcoming whitewashed walls, she couldn't help feeling proud.
Anyone watching would have known that the kitchen was the heart of the household; the place where everyone gathered, where everything was wholeheartedly shared.
It was just the way Molly wanted it. She had always sworn that one day, when she had a home of her own, she would have a huge family and rule it from the kitchen. Rule it through severity, food and love.
And now she did.
