The guild was all quiet. Natsu and Gajeel had stopped their bickering as the withehaired burst inside. His eyes were all set on one thing. Gray Fullbuster. Cana dropped her barrel of booze in chock of the scene before her eyes. Gray turned around in the bar stool he sat on. The ice mages eyes met. Lyon got to his knees as he saw him looking at him. Alive and breathing. 7 years is a long time. 7 years is far too long to believe that the one whom exploded survived. The whitehaired cried silently. Gray was safe. Now he was safe. Lyon didn't care if he looked weak. He didn't care at all. The blackhaired crouched down to the ground and put an arm around the other. Lyon leaned in to hear that small beat of Grays heart.
"I was so scared..." Lyon said slowly nudging the younger males chest. "... I thought I'd lose the last one who I'd ever consider family. Never again do anything like that okay?"
Grays eyes teared up. "I promise..."
And it snowed. It really did snow in the guildhall. Small flakes of snow waltzed down around the ice mages who were now in a deep hug. Fairy tail held their breath. It was so beautiful. Well, almost everyone. Juvia was hiding behind a pillar. She cried a river. Water flowed from her and most of those closest to her almost drowned. Lucy wiped a tear from her cheek. "So cute" she mumbled to Levi who nodded eagerly. They'd been talking BL just the moment before and now they were giggling furiously.
"I love you..." Lyon said resting forehead to forehead.
"I love you more" Gray smiled.
"I love you the most"
The ice mages grinned to each other. It was a habit that they used to before Gray disappeared. That meant they were alright. Thought Lyon would never be the same. "Never leave me again, I'll protect you if anything happens" the whitehaired hummed into Grays hair. Lyon may be overprotective but never again would he let anything make Gray slip away again. "I love you... Gray"
"You've said that" Gray smiled gently. "I love you too"
"Mmm, but is this reality or a dream? If I let go will you still be here?" Lyon asked.
"I'm not going anywhere"
"Unison, STRIP!"
"NANIIII!?" The whole guild screamed as the ice mages stripped down to their underwear in a flash. And then right after in each others arms.
"I think that's how they show affection..." Happy said with a huge grin. "They Liiiiiike each other!"
"Omg!" Lucy screamed with a huge nosebleed. It was probably too much for her.
