Laurel zipped up her dress, glancing in the mirror and smoothing out a wrinkle. Her gaze fell to the picture of her dad, Sarah, and herself. Tommy's words echoed in her mind. "Something is holding you back." Taking the picture in her hand she gingerly sat on the edge of her bed, smoothing her dress out underneath her.

She gazed down at the picture. Tommy was right. As much as she might wish that she could go back in time to when this picture had been taken. As much as she missed her sister; she could not stay in the past. She needed to move forward with her life and out of the shadow that had been cast by her sister's death.

She knew what she needed to do. She knew that she was going to continue to see Oliver around since they were all friends, especially since Tommy was now going to working for Oliver. Things could not continue to be awkward between them. He needed to do this for herself. She didn't need to ask Oliver's permission to date Tommy, but after the kiss they had shared recently it only felt right. She needed to once and for all close that chapter of her life and move forward.

Tommy had always been there for her even when Oliver hadn't been. He was a good man. He had proved recently that he really did care about her. She needed to give him all of her heart, not just the part she thought was safe.

Laurel found that she still held the silver frame, warm and heavy in her hand. She would always remember the day this photo was taken, how happy they'd been, the three of them grinning into the camera. She lovingly brushed her fingers over her sister's image as she put the picture back on her dresser. "Goodbye, Sarah."
