A/N: I love the idea of the Tardis being River's other Mummy too much.
It is such a silly girly thing, and just one of a long line of things missing from her childhood, but the Tardis, as a Mother tends to, indulges her.
They hide together in the depths of the ship, River with a kiss in her mind and the Tardis with a child in her arms.
Together they paint River's toe nails in the brightest, sickliest pink they can find and once it's dry they overlay it with chunky silver glitter that twinkles in the fairy lights interwoven across the headboard.
Tomorrow will be somewhere with a beach, the Tardis assures.
