Note: This story was first written a couple of years ago, which might be the reason why this sucks even after all that vigorous editing. Also, I know that the title is too unoriginal, but considering the fact that the title used to be "Phantom of the Opera...With Pokespe," it's an improvement.
Once upon a time, there lived Red, Blue, and Green. They were marvelous friends, and even though Red was hideous, his friends accepted him.
However, as time went by, Green went away to become a police in Persia, and Blue's father forced her to marry some old guy for money, leaving Red alone once more. And so he went to live under the opera house for he was very talented in singing, composing, and such.
The said opera house was owned by some guy named Ghetsis, but as the years have passed, Ghetsis grew old. Therefore, he gave the opera house to his young son, N, and now N ran the opera house with his young wife, White.
Sometime around when the opera house was given to N, Blue, now widowed, came to the opera house to live there with her late husband's daughter, Crystal, and her adopted daughter Yellow. Yellow worked at the opera house as a chorus girl, while Crystal worked as a ballet dancer, and later the head ballet dancer.
In that opera house, there was an infamous rumor about a mysterious person called the Phantom of the Opera. There were tales of how he had committed murders and just how hideous he looked.
When Blue first heard of this phantom, she instinctively knew that it was her old friend Red, for she knew only one person who could be hideous as him. Meanwhile, this rumor has somehow reached Green as well, who also knew it was Red. And thus, Green came to the opera house to invest as well.

On the day Green came to the opera house, he came across Blue, his old friend. "Blue! What are you doing here?" he inquired.
Blue was pleasantly surprised to see her old friend. She has missed all those innocent days of childish flirting, but his question had brought her back to the harshness of the present. "Why, this is our home ever since– Since my husband died."
Green mentally slapped himself for bringing up such a sensitive topic, albeit it was done unknowingly. "Oh. I'm sorry," he apologized.
Blue gave him a slightly melancholic smile. "You don't have to be. He wasn't that good of a husband. He totally mistreated our daughter and me. I am glad he's dead."
The mention of Blue having a daughter made Green realize just how out of touch he was with his old friend. He asked, "Wait, you have a daughter?"
"Well, actually I have two daughters," Blue explained. "Crystal and Yellow. Crystal is my husband's daughter with his ex-wife, but now he's dead, so she's basically my daughter. Yellow is adopted. Her parents both died."
"Oh."
Silence had taken hold of the conversation between the two old friends, who had been through a bit too much since the last time they had seen each other. Both Green and Blue supposed that they had changed so much since their innocent days, but both wondered if the other thought that their relationship could've been something more if they had not been separated once upon another time.
But for now, to break the slightly uncomfortable silence, Blue asked, "By the way, Green, why are you here?"
This made Green snap out of his reverie. "Ah, that. Remember Red?"
Blue perked up at the mention of another of her old friends. "Of course! We used to be so close together back then. You know, there's a rumor here at the opera house about some Phantom. ...I think it's him."
Green nodded. "So you've noticed as well. I came here to investigate that."
"I think we both should investigate," suggested Blue, "And perhaps we could get together like old times."
This time, he shook his head. "I don't think so. I heard that Red committed some murders, too. I don't want you to get hurt."
"Aww….. Are you worried for me, Green?" teased Blue, bringing back old memories for both herself and Green.
"Well, married life didn't change you a bit, pesky woman," Green responded with a snarky remark just like he used to in the past, but this time a slight grin was upon his lips for he had missed all this with Blue nonetheless.
For the rest of the evening, they have flirted as they've never flirted before, which would be a lie since they used to flirt daily in their youth.

A chorus girl, more specifically, Yellow, was having her usual lesson with her mysterious Angel of Music in her dressing room when nobody was around. With the guidance of the said "angel," she had poured her heart into singing a lyrical aria.
Though her voice was a bit tired from such a vigorous practice session, she was eternally grateful that she had such a brilliant and talented angel teach her to sing and had hoped that by improving her singing, she was somewhat repaying her tutor.
"Angel, do you think I have improved much?" Yellow innocently asked, with her big, amber eyes shining with genuine curiosity.
"Yes, my dear student. I think you are finally ready for your debut," answered a mysterious voice, seemingly coming from within Yellow's mirror in her small dressing room.
"Really?" Yellow asked excitedly, but her face fell as doubts came into her mind. "But I'm just a chorus girl. Would they give me a chance?"
"I'll make sure you would get a chance." The mysterious voice reassured her.
"Thank you, my angel," Yellow thanked the angel as she felt the mysterious presence disappear as he always had after their lessons.
This "angel" Yellow knew was, indeed, the Phantom of the Opera, otherwise known as Red. After hearing the chorus girl sing, he knew she would be the only one who could sing his music, and started to tutor her as her angel of music. However, Red began to fall for his innocent protégée, and secretly, so was Yellow.

Lyra was the "Prima Donna" of the opera house. Along with her husband, Silver, they would always be cast to play the female and male lead. Lyra, despite her position as the Prima Donna, was a very happy-go-lucky person, and she was also quite selfless.
Her husband was a totally different story. Silver was usually described as sadistic, dark, and mean. His countenance had terrified one of the managers, N, to the point that N would seldom speak to him.
Everyone was amazed and shocked that such a sweet girl like Lyra would ever fall in love with someone like Silver, but they were madly in love with each other and were blissfully united in matrimony regardless of what other people said.
One day, Red sent a letter to Lyra demanding her to let Yellow play the female lead in Hannibal. Lyra, being a kind-hearted person, went to Yellow and said, "Say, I heard that you're an amazing singer. You know, I think you should play the female lead in the upcoming show, Hannibal! I was considering a break from my job, and spending some time with my husband instead. What do you think?"
Our very modest Yellow politely declined, thinking it wasn't very nice to take away someone else's role, causing Red, who happened to be listening to them through the walls of the opera house, facepalm. However, after Lyra's lengthy rant about how much she needed to take a break from the stage and the fame, Yellow could not help but accept.
As soon as Yellow gave Lyra her approval, Lyra's expression immediately brightened. She grabbed Yellow's hands and exclaimed, "Okay! So I'll tell White that I'm taking a break. Good luck on your debut, sweetheart!"
Thus, Lyra took a break from her career along with her husband, and they both went to their summer house in Provence.
Meanwhile, Yellow was finally getting her debut.
