Hey everyone! This is my very first submission to...um...anything online, so be nice. I actually wrote this for an English assignment and thought "oh what the heck" and decided to post it. It's in rhymed Iambic Pentameter and has hidden Digimon references that only real fans would notice. Hope you like it!

Hope

The troubles of our world do stem from these:
Men's courage fails when danger faced is real.
So many trick, while friendship not appease,
And feigning love, poor hearts the pain they feel.
The few seek knowledge-shortcuts, wiles more gain,
And purity has gone, it forced to flee.
Does kindness ever stay when days see rain?
Does human life sincer'ty truly see?

The failing of our world is in these traits,
As well the rise to greatness we espy.
The ailing world though now in shadow waits,
Will not remain so for eternity.
For lo, the righteous pillar shall not give,
If hope remains, the light of good will live.
