Barry and Cisco were arguing about some movie technicalities after facing a villain that reminded them of Mean Girls, when they noticed a portal opening. Iris stopped them and rushed them over, afraid of what was to come. She didn't think it was going to be Supergirl. Or rather Kara Danvers. Barry was the first to talk.

"Kara, what are you doing here?"

"I.. My earth… This is the best option. I can help you here. Can I stay at Star Labs until I find an apartment of my own? Iris, you're a reporter, right? Do you happen to know anyone who is hiring?"

"Woah, woah, woah. You want to stay here? You don't need our help?"

"Yes, I do. Didn't you here? Iris can help me find a job and I can stay here for a while."

After they had brought Kara to a Star Labs guest room and she had fallen asleep immediately. They didn't know what to make of the situation.

"What do you think happened?" "Should we contact her sister?" "Good idea, something is strange."

Alex answered immediately.

"Kara is with you? Thank God. No, she was right to leave. She isn't giving us up, just giving us time. The presence of Supergirl causes more harm than good at this point. Every time she shows her face in public, the people riot. They don't like being protected by an Alien."

"What happened? The people liked her when I was last there! She was their hero, just like we are in Central City."

"Things change. Our Earth is not as… friendly anymore. People feeling threatened is dangerous. And Alien immigrants with super powers can make you feel threatened. We might slowly be turning into another Earth X… On Thanksgiving, they marked every household with Aliens in it and attacked the families inside. At dinner. Hate crimes rise, there's terror. And Supergirl tried to help, but the situation switched. When Kara's best friend found out she betrayed her and more and more people started attacking her… I think living on an Earth with less political tension wouldn't be so bad for her now."

"Okay. I'm really sorry. About your situation. We could probably use her help. Who couldn't? But, don't you? What if there is an emergency?"

"We can hold our own without Supergirl currently. As I said, she escalates situations recently. She's a symbol. But, just in case, I have your trans dimensional communicator thing. I can contact her any time. Just, make sure she feels welcome, please. She hasn't had that in a long while."
