Spirits
Her spirit lingers in the halls
I feel her presence, a chill creeps down my spine
I know she is dead, but deep inside she's not
The space inside me where she was, now sits empty
Gone from the world, motionless body, screaming from the dead
A change in my joyous spirit
She is me
She's my soul that died when I was bullied, taunted, wished away
No longer soft
A hard shell buries who I was
It buries my soft side
Buries my soul
