Chapter 1: A Proposition
"Oh, Julian! You are just amazing in the sack! Just one of the fine traits of a real Crane man," the woman exclaimed. Her red, luscious lips danced across the man's aged skin as they rubbed their warm bodies together on a bed of silk.
"Yes, naturally. It's in the 'jeans'," replied Julian Crane with a laugh, taking a breath from their torrid affair.
The woman sat up and combed her fingers through her red, gleaming hair. Julian buttoned up his shirt then stood up and walked over to a nearby table.
"Once you've finally divorced your husband, we can do this more often. We can have fun on the Crane jet and then fly down to Bermuda on the weekends," Julian said, biting his lips in anticipation. "That wouldn't be my first time making love with an exotic woman in Bermuda. Ooh, Eve..." Julian whispered to himself then poured himself a drink.
"What did you say, Julian?" she asked in wonder.
"Oh it's nothing, Rebecca darling. But business comes before pleasure and father wouldn't like it if he knew what we were up to. Once I divorce that slut, Ivy, we won't have to seclude ourselves to make love."
"Well it's too bad that Ethan isn't your son. I know that you two were so close. But just because he is really Sam Bennett's son doesn't mean that he can't be your legal son," Rebecca hinted as she stared into his eyes.
"What are you saying? Ivy and Sam had an affair years ago and Ethan is their bastard child! Just the thought of having raised Mr. Goody-Goody Chief of Police's son for all those years makes me weak in the knees. But you're right, I still do love Ethan. How could I not? I raised him as one of my own, teaching him what it is to be a Crane man," Julian said with dignity.
"Then why don't you adopt Ethan? Sam Bennett obviously hates him and I don't think Ethan will ever forgive his mother for being such a whore. Plus Ethan is no longer competition for being the Crane heir. There's no reason why you couldn't adopt Ethan as your own," Rebecca said hypnotically batting her eyes at him.
"Hmm.. I like the way you think, Rebecca." Julian drank some more alcohol from his glass and then slipped his coat on. "Well we'd better head back to Harmony. I hate to bring an end to such a wonderful day. Maybe next time I'll wear my president's suit and you can play Monica," Julian coaxed with a fire in his eyes.
