"Malfoy? What are we doing here?", I asked him as I looked over the scene in front of me.

He had taken me to a meadow behind the Black Lake.

"Granger, just shut up for a few minutes will you? I'm honestly trying to be nice, and you just keep babling on like Loony Lovegood.", he said giving me a slight scowl.

I scowled deeply at him but kept my mouth shut.

"Now, that's better. Anyways Granger, I have a few things to say to you. One, you are a bloody annoying bitch-", I cut him off with a hard slap to the face.

"Hey!", he exclaimed.

I glared at him and stated simply "You did not just force me to come to this place just so you could insult me. You're an insufferable prat, you know that Malfoy?"

"Yes, I know, I know, but you didn't let me finish. Now two, you are an extremely beautiful person-"

I blushed slightly, giving him a shy smile.

"-when you are not talking."

Smile gone.

"And three, you are the most amazing and different girl I have ever met, and before you say anything, I would just like to say that I am so very greatful to have you in my life, even if it is only for a while.", he said.

I felt my face redden, yet soften at the same time.

"Malfo-", he cut me off.

"Call me Draco.", he said simply, giving me a half smile.

"Draco-", I said, starting over.

He smiled brightly.

"-well, that was, I-", I sighed and then continued

"-at least liked the last one. Thank you."

He chuckled slightly and asked "Can I kiss you now?"

I rolled my eyes and nodded.

He leaned in slightly.

I closed my eyes in anticipation, but the kiss never came.

I opened my eyes to see a very red and out of breath, silently laughing Draco on the ground.

I raised my eyebrow slightly.

He looked up from his state and then continued laughing.

After a few minutes, he calmed down and gave me a look.

"Honestly Hermione, look at us. I'm Draco Malfoy, and you're Hermione Granger. A few months ago, if someone had told you you were months away from kissing me, you would hex them, and then come after me.", he explained.

I laughed and said "Well Draco, it is us, I mean, I just started calling you Draco a few minutes ago. We're unexpected."

"Yes, but unexpected is also a change for other people. And what will they have to say about this?", he asked.

I giggled a little, and then stated simply "Well Draco, things change, sometimes, it's for the better, and if they don't like it, then they can kiss my ass."

He chuckled and asked "Now can I kiss you?"

Then, in responce I leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on his mouth.
