I do not own Naruto.
Team Hebi had arrived in Konoha. All four members stood proudly, while the villagers surrounding them whispered in hushed voices. ANBU guards surrounded them from every direction too prevent them from escaping or doing anything to harm any of civilians.
Sasuke, who had finally killed his brother and decided to come back to Konoha after killing Itachi along with his new Team. The hushed voices suddenly came to an end as Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake approached the quartet. Everyone watched with intense eyes, waiting to see how this would end, a confrontation between old teammates and new teams.
Unconsciously the trio straightened their backs and stood more confidently than before, after all they did not want to be seen as weak by Sasuke's old teammates. Naruto and Kakashi stood in front of Sasuke, their eyes widened with shock and disbelief because this was Sasuke Uchiha, their old teammate that they had not seen for years, standing in front of them like nothing ever changed.
After Naruto recovered from the shock of seeing Sasuke again, he stared into his former teammates eyes, both having an intense staring competition, neither one giving up. Just when Naruto was going to open his mouth and giving Sasuke the biggest lecture about how ditching your friends and then replacing with them with some wannabes was not acceptable way to grow into a stronger ninja from Konoha, he was cut off by a stern voice.
"What is going on here?"
Everything became quiet, no one dared to move a muscle. The hushed whispers that surrounded them earlier became non-existent. Sakura Haruno stood there, head held high and green eyes piercing. Some of the other nins who knew of Sakuras monstrous strength grinned inwardly, they knew she would beat the Uchiha black and blue, heal him and then repeat the whole process all over again for daring to leave them.
Slowly she walked, each step giving out an imaginary echo. One of the greatest teams that Konoha ever produced reunited. She stood in front of the girl with the red hair and slowly brought her hand up to the girls red hair.
Was she going to pull it?
Was she going to slap her?
Was she going to knock her out and then kill her?
Those were the thoughts that were going through everyone's minds but no one dared to intervene, this was a matter between them and it would be useless to get involved in.
The lock of red hair was now twisted around her hand and said in a soft voice, much to everyone's shock.
"You know, your hair is a beautiful color, it reminds me of vermilion roses. I'm Sakura by the way, hopefully we'll see each other around"
With that Sakura let go of her hair and walked off leaving everyone gaping after her.
No one paid Karin too much attention, for which she was glad, her face was as red as her hair now.
Somewhere in another place Kushina sneezed.
