Maki Nishikino, a second year student at Otonokizaka high was walking down the hallway when she heard her fellow classmates Honoka and Kotori talking about their future. Maki was disappointed to hear this because she'd had a MAJOR crush on kotori for as long as she can remember. While they were talking they heard someone run down the hall sobbing. "Huh, I wonder who that was," Kotori said. "It sounded like Maki!" Honoka replied sounding worried. Kotori threw open the door to see Maki turning the corner crying hard. "Oh no, she must've heard us!" Kotori cried. Kotori dashed after Maki to find her crying in the corner, "Oh Maki, what's wrong?" She asked, hoping to comfort her. "I don't want to talk about it, jus-just leave me alone," she said between sobs as she got up and ran home. It was the end of the day, it wasn't like Kotori was going to follow her home anyway.
*flashback*
Kotori was about to round the corner when she heard whispering. 'It sounds like Maki and Rin.' she thought. "So," said Rin. "When are you telling Kotori you like her?" "I'm not!" exclaimed Maki. "She'd never talk to me again!" Kotori rounded the corner. "Hi, Maki," she chirped. Maki blushed. "H-h-hey Kotori," Stuttered maki, and Kotori blushed. Deep down Kotori had a crush on Maki and now that she knew Maki had a crush on her, talking to her would be easy.
*end of flashback*
Suddenly Kotori knew in her heart she loved Mak, and not Honoka, so she headed to Maki's house.
Honoka stopped Kotori on the way and asked Kotori what was going on. "I'm sorry Honoka-chan, but I don't like you anymore," Kotori said through sniffles, she couldn't bear it anymore, so she ran down the hall crying. As for Honoka, she broke down in tears.
