[A/N]: Rhea, because there aren't nearly enough stories for them. Enjoy!

Thea Queen stood at the bus stop, shivering in her thin jacket, thankful for the thick mittens on her hands. She'd rolled her eyes at her brother when he'd handed them to her, but was now glad he had.
She looked over to the boy approaching. He was in her grade; Felicity Smoak's adopted brother. Roy Harper. She knew him partially because Oliver was totally in love with Felicity, and partially because she found Roy attractive (not that she'd ever tell him). He was wearing his signature red hoodie and jeans even though it was winter, and when he pulled out his phone to check it, Thea saw he had fingerless gloves.
Fingerless gloves. Practicality-wise, they were an absolute failure. Fashion-wise? Thea adored them in fall and early spring. But not winter. Sure, they looked cool, but they didn't keep your hands warm at all.
She huffed out a sort of amused sigh and tapped her foot twice impatiently. Where was the bus?
"Cold?" Roy said. When she turned, she saw the partial smirk on his face, gaze resting on her huge mittens.
"Actually, yes. And mittens are warm, unlike fingerless gloves."
"You have something against my gloves?"
"Only the fact that you're wearing them outside in the middle of winter."
He raised an eyebrow. "That's all it takes to incur your wrath, huh?"
Thea didn't dignify that with an answer, and luckily the bus arrived at that moment. As she boarded and sat down, Roy commented, "I'll make sure to wear 'em tomorrow, Princess."

He was true to his word. He wore those stupid gloves every day for the next month, and it really grated on her nerves. Right before winter break, she headed to the bus stop with a slight limp, thanks to a sports accident, with an extra bundle in her backpack. When he arrived at the stop, she handed the bundle to him without a word.
"A present? Princess, you shouldn't have," he teased gently. "I've got nothing for you."
"Just open it."
He did so, grinning. "Gloves? You got me gloves?"
"I'm sick of you wearing those fingerless things. And they're leather, so don't worry about your 'cool factor'."
"Thanks, Princess."

Roy wore the gloves for the remaining of the winter, and on March 21 ("It's spring now, Princess") she was handed a bundle so similar to the one she'd given him before by Felicity at lunch. "Roy asked me to give you this?"
"Thanks, Felicity." Thea opened it, and couldn't suppress her smile. A pair of fingerless gloves, and a note. The note read:
Princess,
Since you gave me gloves, it's only fair. You better wear them, since I wore those things.
Roy
Thea folded the note carefully, putting it in the pocket of her jacket. Then she slipped on the fingerless gloves, despite how the black leather clashed with her pastel blouse and white jeans.
Across the cafeteria, Roy smiled.

Relatively short; but fluffy, like Thea's mittens. Feedback is always appreciated, and thank you for reading!
