I really only wrote this bc I've been mega hype for Christmas so I had to. It's short, sorry :P

I know it's been a while but my laptop stopped working (I still haven't replaced it yet I figured out how to post from mobile)

This operates under the headcanon that Paul celebrates Hanukkah and Ash celebrates Christmas.

In which Ash gets a little carried away.

Paul walked into the apartment after running errands with some shopping bags in hand, placed them down on the table, then went to put them away when he noticed.

"Merry Christmas!" Ash shouted, a Santa hat on his head and one of his most ridiculous Christmas sweaters on. The entire living room had been transformed, and Paul couldn't help but think Christmas threw up all over their living room.

There were fairy lights lining the ceiling, tinsel lining the fireplace, two stocking hanging from the mantle, and what seemed like the biggest Christmas tree ever grown in the corner covered in tinsel, fairy lights, and ornaments. Two soothe bells were hanging from the branches facing the center of the room.

"Wow, you really got to work," Paul said with a smile.

"I thought I'd suprise you!" Ash said, a giant grin on his face.

"There's something missing, though," Paul said, then went to the closet, where there were a few boxes in the back. He came back with a menorah and gently placed it on the table.

"Oh. I completely forgot to get that out! I guess I got too caught up in the tinsel and stuff," Ash said with a sheepish smile. He then noticed something on the ceiling. He grinned at this and walked up to Paul, taking his hand and kissing him on the cheek.

"What...?" Paul was confused. Ash pointed up and noticed the mistletoe Ash had hung up there.

"You know the rules," Ash said with a smile as he leaned in for a proper kiss.
