Childhood
Emmett reminded Rosalie of a child. Immature, always joking around, he even looked like a child.
But Jacob, Jacob was a man.
Jacob looked older than he was, but in a good way. He was more put together, more thoughtful than Emmett.
The large muscles looked better on Jacob than they did on Emmett, made Jacob look more complete, where Emmett looked like a kid wearing a Halloween costume.
Rosalie had saved Emmett because he reminded her of a child.
The only thing Rosalie had ever wanted was a child.
But sometimes, you have to give up your dreams.
Now, Rosalie wanted a man.
A man like Jacob.
