Lunar Rainbow

Prologue

Written by Commit Me To Silence

Dear diary,

I must confess, many bizarre things have happened in my past and present, and most probably will happen in the future – I hope. So far, I found out that my best friend, Goku, was an alien from another planet; that was when everything changed... for good. After that, he fought many tyrants, hoping to protect the lives of the Earth's people, for that was what he cared about most, life.

I also travelled the planet and met my past boyfriend in a desert... and his best friend was a talking, floating cat... talk about crazy? I've also met many, many villains, and believe it or not, none of them were human. Oh, another strange thing is that for most of my life I have been searching for the dragon balls, the greatest thing known to mankind. These balls could grant you ANY wish you wanted, immortality, freedom, power... death. But, of course, I would never in a million years wish for anyone's death... that's just barbaric.

But those years spent with all my friends, family; jumping into great adventures, were most probably the best years of my life. My life was different to most humans, and I loved it that way.

But now, I can no longer have those crazy, wild adventures with Goku, I can no longer feel the warmth of my beloved Yamcha, and I can no longer share laughter with my friends and family, for I am a slave on this dreadful planet, a planet which is conquered by the worst race alive; the Saiyans.

They stole me from my home, and then threw me straight into slavery and if I did anything wrong, I was punished. They made my days a living hell... I wanted to die, I wanted to jump into the nearest fire and burn to death, but the other half of me wanted revenge, so I didn't, I stayed alive, watching; waiting, for the closest opportunity for their death and despair.

And the only thing that helped me through that was my other half, the other half that joined me the night I was attacked by a stranger. That night, oh that horrible night... I will never forget it for it haunts my dreams, my mind and my life.

That night changed me for good, and I fear I can never return to my normal self again... I fear that I am no longer Bulma Briefs, the genius who wanted to follow her father's footsteps, to be big and earn bucket loads of money, and to design amazing technology to make the future a better place for her people.

But that's all in the past now, and all I'm left with are my memories, my happy, happy memories which were soon fading away.

And now, at this moment in time, I'm sitting in a dark, gloomy cell, surrounded by bloody corpses, most of them dead through starvation, and I can't help but dread what might happen to me in the future, but right now, I'm going to focus on telling you the story of my past, starting from the day my life changed for the worse...
