The settings is based on during the Episode, "Follow Dr. Gero." In the
Android Saga.
The small aircraft zooms across the sky. Leaving a small trail of narrow white clouds that circles behind. Small abrupt winds pass through the area as it comes in for a landing, giving the immortal Doctor it's chance. Realizing this Trunks turns sharply waving his arms in the air trying to alert them.
"What are you doing?! DON'T COME DOWN HERE!!"
But it was too late. As the aircraft circles around the area it gave Dr. Gero the signal.
"Perfect."
He then looks to the other Z-Fighters.
"Enjoy this short lived victory while you are able. For soon I will unleash Androids 17 and 18 to destroy you all!!"
This gave him their attention. For what Trunks has predicted is becoming more than a simple twist of fate. Android 20 then goes into chaotic laughter as he moves his arms into position detonating hundreds of blasts destroying most of the area catching the aircraft within the crossfire. Spinning it out of control. But before the aircraft crashes, Trunks moves in when he saw that no one else would. A wide beam of light blinds the Z-Fighters leaving them helpless to see what is going on. As the Light fades, so does the smoke and the raining of rocks.

Trunks gaze falls onto the small crying lump in his arms.
Still trying to understand the fact that
this is him as the child of the past. Or is it the present?
But he then wonders,
"Is the past different from the present or the future? My mother, Bulma, is still Bulma in the past as she was in the present and future. But is she still my mother in the past? Or is she the mother of this.. small child.. who is also Trunks. But is it.. Me?...How mind boggling.."
Except his thoughts were interrupted when he heard Vegeta call out something
on the Android... The android? What about Bulma and her son? Doesn't he
care about them? Did his father care about him?
