Numbness

For Static Lull
Alice Longbottom lives in a windswept wasteland of nothing and everything; of numbness, and deadness, and listlessness. She doesn't think and she doesn't feel, and she breathes in the dust of her wasteland to numb her lungs, her eyes, her heart.
Alice Longbottom doesn't feel a thing. Her mind is somewhere no one can reach. She doesn't want anyone to find her in her aloneness; in her coldness of not feeling.
Alice Longbottom lives in a wasteland, away from happiness and sadness and angriness. Where there is nothing, everything, something, no one, everyone, someone.
And the cycle continues.
Alice Longbottom lives in her wasteland, where the dust settles inside her until she can't breathe anymore.
