They met at a funeral.

A rather dreadful way to meet- some would say it was an omen of something terrible to come. But they did not care, for their lives were already cursed before their lips met.

The red haired one lived a good life. He had a large family, he was well respected, and his vaults were always overflowing in gold, even more so when he married his well-to-do wife. He was a socialite, much like his wife. He was always talking, always dancing, always being whisked away to Ministry parties.

The blond, in contrast, was an enigma. No one knew what he was thinking, what he was doing. They never knew how he did things, who he talked too. They knew he was rich, that he came from an old family. The world knew that he did well at Hogwarts. But that was it. He was unknown, a big question mark.

They were total opposites. The socialite and the shadow.

Maybe that's why they made such a good couple.

Oh, but no one knew. Who could they tell? One was married, the other one was engaged. Not to mention, the age difference would make some gasp in disbelief.

But they did not care. They were surrounded in love. They were on opposites, two different sides of a coin. They were perfect. They created a world around themselves that was only broken by death.

And death did part them so.

Here lies Ignatius Prewett

A loving uncle, brother, and son.

XX-X-XXXX to X-XX-XXXX

The tall blond figure curled his fingers as he set down the white flowers, his face covered by a shadow. His robe was wrapped tightly around him, the black of the cape a startling contrast to the man's complexion.

After a few more moments of looking down at his lover's grave, the blond figure turned on his heel and apparated out of the cemetery. He arrived in front of a large gate, the designs on the metal showing a large crest with a peacock on it and snakes slithering around the edges.

"Who is it?"

"Yaxley. Let me in, Pettigrew."

Okay, I officially ship this pairing now. You can't stop me. This was a lot of fun to write, the pairing is so random and technically Ignatius would be dating someone around his niece (Molly Weasley)'s age but who cares?

This is for the 335 Pairing Bonanza Challenge, using the first pairing: Ignatius Prewett/Yaxley hosted by the lovely Fire the Canon. Keep up the weird pairings.

I don't own Harry Potter.
