The first rays of the early morning sun streamed through the mist to dance across the two bodies entwined deep in the long grass. The darker haired boy was sprawled on his front, his long hair gleaming in the golden light as it fell elegantly to cover his face. The fairer boy was on his side, his arm resting tenderly across the other boy's back. Their naked flesh was pale and goose pimpled in the freshness of the morning air. Droplets of dew were forming, glistening like molten gold in the light as their chests rose and fell as one.

Close by a rabbit stirred and the fair haired boy's nose twitched. His amber eyes snapped open and he looked about him. He took in his companion and the world around them bathed in golden light and was struck by the thought that he must have died during the night, for this must surely be heaven? Then he closed his eyes again and wrapped himself more tightly around his friend, thinking that actually that was just fine by him.

A/N: I was stuck in the car the other day on a horrific journey that should have taken 3 hours but actually took nearer 7. The sun was setting across the beautiful English countryside and this is what I saw...

I hope you enjoyed. Maybe one day I will write about how they got there, or the farmers daughter who get's the shock of her life on her way to milk the cows not long after this...

Please review, it spurs me on.
