Accept Me
AN: Here I am trying to write for this pairing again... I can't help it, I really REALLY ship it, okay?
Warnings: Shy!Al wanting to be accepted by the Malfoys
Scorpius seemed to take in the Potter-Weasley home with stride. He was a natural at conversing and even managed to win over Al's uncle at one point. It wasn't easy, but he became a regular part of the family... Of course his boy friend was quite happy with that, it meant Scorpius was always welcome in over and they were trusted to be alone at times.
On the other hand, it upset Albus in a way. He didn't like to admit, but when he saw how wonderfully Scorpius got along with his rather massive family, he was... embarrassed. Not by his family of course and certainly not by the blonde. No, he was embarrassed because on the rare occasion that the two were invited to dine at Malfoy Manor, Albus's crushing shyness usually disabled him from making conversation. He would notice and maybe try to make an awkward joke, in which his boy friend would usually give him a smile and a shake of his head. Albus tried not to look up at the reactions of the rest of the Malfoy's as he turned a bright red.
Scorpius thought this fear was silly, silence was one thing that Malfoy's appreciated... He would kiss his bashful lover's rosy cheeks and reassure him that his family loved Albus and if Scorpius had to date a Potter, it was definitely the quiet one that they preferred anyway. (Okay, maybe his grandfather disproved of the situation completely... But Scorpius didn't like him and he didn't count.) And though he knew he should be mildly insulted... Hearing this did help a bit... Maybe one day they would even accept him into their family. It was a long shot, but he could dream.
