Okay, first of all, I am really sorry. If something like that will happen in books, me and my best friend kill Uncle Rick.

And, I would like you to read this with "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift in the background (link: watch?v=YFEDTtKaFzU )

Enjoy, although I cried really hard when I was writing it.

Annabeth opened her eyes slowly, smiling lightly as the rays of sunlight brushed against her face.

She ignored the sharp pain in her broken ribs when she took a breath and turned her face to Percy.

He wasn't sleeping, but his eyes were closed. He was breathing slowly.

Rubbing her hand with his thumb, Percy raised their laced fingers and kissed them, making Annabeth's heart warming a little.

"Are you alright?" He asked quietly, looking at her.

She didn't realize that tears rolled down her face until he brushed some of them with his fingertips.

Annabeth tried to shrug, which was kind of hard, considering her weak body.

"I think I will be." She closed her eyes again and Percy kissed the top of her head.

They lied there in comfortable silence, until her quiet voice broke it.

"Do you want to know what I planned for my life after Titan's war?"

"I'm listening." He murmured, his eyes shut.

"I wanted to finish high school, go to college. Get married, buy a small house with a small garden and have kids with you." Annabeth said. "I've never seen this coming."

Percy felt his eyes watering up. He squeezed her tighter, not caring it hurts like hell.

"At least, I'm glad we didn't die in there." Percy replied. "I'm glad we both got out."

Annabeth opened her eyes, looking at the sun.

She knew it was the last time they ever see it and she decided that she will enjoy it as much as she can.

"I am too."

When Annabeth was younger, she decided that if she has to die, she will die in an important battle. She didn't have in mind dying from exhaustion few days after being in hell.

But now, when she lied here, on the bed with the love of her life, she felt completed.

"Percy?" She raised her gaze to him. He looked down at her.

She wasn't sad.

"Yes?"

She was happy.

If she has to die, she was happy that it is this way.

She squeezed his hand harder, not willing to ever let go.

"Can we go to sleep now?" She asked, hopefully.

She was a little girl again. Her father was covering her with blankets, kissing her forehead on goodnight.

There was so much she wanted to do. So much she wanted to say, so much she wanted to explore.

He let out a deep breath and pressing his lips against hers, one last time, he replied:

"Of course we can."

Even if she wasn't looking at him, her other hand wandered to his face, wiping away a tear.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you, too."

"I'll see you soon, okay?"

She nodded against his chest, closing her eyes again.

She was ready.

"Okay."

I am SO SO SO SO sorry! I couldn't help myself!

I have so much Percabeth feeling since past October and it hurts so badly. I wanna die right now.

Percabeth better not die in "House of Hades".

Anyway, please, please, please give me a review and if you want me to write a reaction on their death (ugh) from someone's point of view, just say it, okay?

Thanks for reading.

Love, ItIsJustAGame.
