Chapter 1
"Hey, what are you doing!", I heard someone holler to me as I walked out of a small store, confused, I turned to see a man. He looked like he was about 23, he had beautiful brown eyes, and thick black hair. "Uh-I-uh", I stuttered, he just stared at me, his eyes looking me over. "Well?", he questioned. I felt my face get hot as he raised his right eyebrow, then I just laughed, I don't know why, but I did. He looked confused, like I was crazy, which isn't a surprise.. I mean come on! Then, he started laughing, and eventually we both started laughing like maniacs in the middle of a busy sidewalk.(Getting dirty looks from everyone I may add) "What's your name?" I wheezed after my laughing fit. "My name", he breathed, "is Connor" I smiled at him, his big brown eyes seemed to smile back. "What's your name?", he asked after a couple seconds of silence. I told him then that my name was Karli, he smiled and asked if he could have my number, so we could get to know each other over some coffee or tea. I agreed and we parted, I walked to my apartment and he went back into the little corner store, but that wouldn't be the last time I looked into his dreamy eyes.
