It's great to think how long Reubeus and I have been dating. Yesterday, he took me to a great place to eat. We've been dating for ten years now, and I can't wait for what the future has in store for us. As I walked to the mailbox one morning, I saw my neighbor, Amy, wave at me. She came into my house, smiling so wonderfully. I knew something was going on.
"So, today's your big anniversary, right, Serena?" Amy inquired as she sat on my couch, drinking some tea.
"Yeah, I'm pretty excited…" I answer, although only half enthusiastic. Amy kept smiling.
"What if we had some girlfriends over to make you over so you can go on a date and look pretty tonight with Mr. Awesome-boyfriend?" I was now starting to feel excited. We called the rest of the girls over, and they began to give me the makeover of a lifetime. I looked so gorgeous with my golden pigtails curled.
Suddenly, in walks Darien and Reubeus. Reubeus had a dumb-founded look on his face, and from the looks of things, it appeared that Darien helped him with his usually-untidy-wardrobe. He looked everlastingly handsome.
"What's going on, guys?" Asked Serena, seeing the sly faces of her Scouts and often-rescuer, Darien. They burst out into giggles.
"We have a surprise for you guys!" They all said. They pulled out a pile of cash and a key. "We thought you two would enjoy your big day in Gatlinburg. So we all pitched in and got you a five-room cabin, which is right outside of the town. There's plenty to do, like shopping, eating, camping, and much, much more!"
Reubeus burst into sobs of gladness as he quickly accepted the wads of cash, stuffing it all into a big bag. Serena squealed, packing her bags as her friends left, one-by-one.
They instantly got into the car and began their journey to the mountains…heavens only knows what miracles will unleash from such a magical place.
