"What,what, I'm up!" yelled Speed. "Conor, you've got to stop waking me like that,"
"Sorry!"said an apologetic Conor. "I'm just so excited about today! Did you hear? We're getting some new kids today. I think they're twins from Australia,"
"I hope they're not a s annoying as you," Speed mumbled.
"Huh what did you say?"
"Oh, nothing,"
By now, Speed had gotten used to Conor's occasional ramblings on and on. He had to admit, the thought of someone new and foreign to the school was exciting, but did it really take all of this? He had enough to think about with the redwood rally coming up in a week.
"Right Speed?"
"Huh?"
"I said, I hope they're nice, right Speed?"
"Oh, yeah,"
As Speed and Conor walked into Professor Aniskov's class, they spotted Lucy in the hallway. Lately he had noticed her beginning to grow on him. He wondered "What would it be like to date her to kiss her?" He was broken out of his daze when he almost tripped over Chim-Chim.
"Hey Lucy," Conor replied. "Did you hear about the new-"
"Okay, I think we've heard enough from you about the new kids from you Conor,"
Lucy laughed. "Yeah, I heard. Do you think they're boys or girls?"
"I don't know boys maybe?"
Speed was almost asleep when Spritle walked into the room. Students, I want you to meet your classmates, Eric and Erin Love.
That's when he saw her. The new kid.
